This study aims to examine the importance of adaptive leadership in facing business dynamics, the key characteristics required of adaptive leaders, implementation strategies, and the challenges involved. A descriptive qualitative method was used through a literature review approach. The results indicate that adaptive leaders must possess a clear vision, flexibility, strong communication skills, and the courage to make decisions amid uncertainty. Key strategies include training programs, encouraging innovation, and fostering team involvement. The main challenges are resistance to change and limited resources. In conclusion, adaptive leadership is not only a competitive advantage but also a necessity in addressing the challenges of the digital business landscape.
Uswatul Hasanah Fakhrurozi Fakhrurozi Copyright (c) 2026 Uswatul Hasanah, Fakhrurozi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-28 2026-01-28 2 1 1 7 10.58290/jbas.v2i1.159 Prompt Engineering and Input Art as a Lever for Knowledge Productivity in the Era of Generative Artificial Intelligence https://journal.uimandiri.ac.id/index.php/jbas/article/view/209
This study investigates the structural transformations in the concept of personal productivity for knowledge workers in light of the increasing dominance of Large Language Models (LLMs), with a particular focus on the "Art of Input" and "Prompt Engineering" as a cognitive competence and an intermediary technical skill. The research stems from the problem that the gap between the algorithmic capabilities of artificial intelligence and the tangible actual outputs is mainly attributed to a deficiency in the human user's "context engineering." Through a descriptive analytical methodology based on a critical review of the latest experimental studies and research reports, the study concluded that mastering advanced prompt engineering techniques leads to overcoming what is known as the "jagged technological frontier," achieving qualitative leaps in output quality and speed of accomplishment, especially among less technically skilled groups (Wharton School, 2025). The research also provides a scientific framework for integration models (Centaur & Cyborg) as future operating frameworks, recommending the necessity of integrating input art as a fundamental skill in academic curricula and professional development programs.
Sakher farea Ghaleb Aljonied Copyright (c) 2026 Sakher farea Ghaleb Aljonied https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-13 2026-01-13 2 1 8 15 10.58290/jbas.v2i1.209 The Influence of Formation Culture, Organization and Job Satisfaction to Commitment of Education Personnel At New College https://journal.uimandiri.ac.id/index.php/jbas/article/view/211
This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment among educational staff at newly established private higher education institutions. Newly founded universities face challenges in developing a strong organizational culture while simultaneously maintaining job satisfaction to foster long-term employee commitment. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. The population consisted of all educational staff at a private university in South Lampung Regency that has been established for less than five years. A total of 35 respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment when tested partially. In contrast, organizational culture does not have a significant partial effect on organizational commitment. However, simultaneous testing indicates that organizational culture and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. These findings suggest that in newly established higher education institutions, job satisfaction plays a dominant role in shaping the commitment of educational staff, while organizational culture requires time to be fully internalized. This study recommends that new universities prioritize policies aimed at improving job satisfaction and continuously strengthening the internalization of organizational culture to enhance organizational commitment among educational staff.
Acum Wijaya Supriyanto Supriyanto Susi Nofitasari Copyright (c) 2026 Acum Wijaya, Supriyanto, Susi Nofitasari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-27 2026-01-27 2 1 16 25 10.58290/jbas.v2i1.211 Implementation of Corporate Governance in Improving Company Performance at ASDP Bakauheni Branch, South Lampung https://journal.uimandiri.ac.id/index.php/jbas/article/view/215
This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Bakauheni Branch, South Lampung. The research examines the governance structure, oversight mechanisms, application of GCG principles, work ethics, risk management, and the branch’s compliance with head office policies. Recent revisions and developments also include an in-depth analysis of post-flood conditions in the South Lampung region, particularly how the flooding affected operational stability and the extent to which GCG implementation experienced changes The results indicate that although the organizational structure at the branch level is not as complete as that of the head office, GCG implementation remains effective due to the use of digital reporting systems and multilayered supervision. In the post-flood period, the implementation of GCG was found to have improved, especially in terms of transparency, accountability, and social responsibility. The Bakauheni Branch of ASDP also carried out a series of social initiatives, including the distribution of logistics and emergency assistance to communities affected by the flooding.
Risa Haruman Putri Tokit Masditok Copyright (c) 2026 Risa Haruman Putri, Tokit Masditok https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-02-24 2026-02-24 2 1 26 33 10.58290/jbas.v2i1.215
